Summer Means Preparation
Its summertime, and that means that our chapter must begin preparations for the next academic year.
Currently our Recruitment chair Matt Stine ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) is working on a fall rush calendar in hopes of yielding another successful rush. Our current pledge class of Spring '09 are well on their way to becoming valued members of the Tau Nu brotherhood. All seven of the pledges have shown great promise and initiative.
Looking at the fall semester there are two large events coming up, the first of which is our 25th aniversary celebration. We are planning to hold a family friendly FIJI celebration during RPI's alumni weekend during October 2nd through the 4th. For information see the website: www.taunu25.com . I hope that many of our graduates will decide to attend, as I feel that they are one of the strongest aspects of our chapter.
Our other major event is our anual Black Diamond formal, which all the undergrads look forward to in November.
All of our committees should be preparing for the upcoming semester, as our preparation will ensure success in our goals.

New Website
After many years of faithful service, the old Tau Nu Fiji website has been decommissioned to the bowels of the internet. The antiquated website has been replace with a brand new content management system based website that will allow for easier editing of content, and higher flexibility. The cutting edge website is fitting for a chapter at such a high tech school. The new site is currently in it's test version, but should be fully functional, so check back often for updates.
